1.Classic Comfort Plan

Classic comfort…The term invokes visions of warm blankets, soft slippers, cozy fires, and cups of tea.

Classic comfort food…well, that’s the familiar food of your childhood. It is meat and potatoes, chicken and gravy, casseroles and huge pots of soup. It’s oven fresh bread slathered with butter. Corn bread and beans, bacon and greens. Cream soups and decadent desserts, jello salads and potlucks. It’s the tastes and scents of home. Thus, comfort food is hygge for your stomach.

“What I say is that, if a man really likes potatoes, he must be a pretty decent sort of fellow.”

― A.A. Milne

If that quote resonates with you, certainly this menu is perfect for you. The classic comfort plan is very family friendly, and not super healthy.

2. Fit & Healthy Plan

Fit & Healthy. Inner and outer well being. Nourishing food. Exercise. Strength. A way of life, not a diet. Long term sustainability.

“I think preparing food and feeding people brings nourishment not only to our bodies but to our spirits. Feeding people is a way of loving them, in the same way that feeding ourselves is a way of honoring our own createdness and fragility.”

― Shauna Niequist, Bittersweet

Who says that healthy eating has to be bland and blah? This is a menu plan that focuses on delicious, colorful, healthy food. Fit and Healthy showcases proteins and fresh ingredients because we believe fresh is best. Consequently we’ve eliminated most canned foods and starches. The majority of these recipes are gluten-free, Paleo, or dairy free.

The Fit & Healthy menu is created for those for whom eating healthy is either a choice or necessity.

3. Variety Plan

Is your weekly menu stuck in a rut? Do you eat the same foods over and over and over again? Do you believe variety is the spice of life? We’ve got the menu for you!

The Variety menu is just that-so much variety. As a result, there are curries and stews, pestos and pizzas, potatoes, pastas and couscous, hummus and coq au vin. There are one pan skillet meals, pots of delicious soup, classic and inventive sandwiches, and colorful summer salads. Almost every menu includes our fresh, homemade bread recipes.

This menu is lighter and as a result, the recipes are adaptable for diets. The sauces are cleaner often starring one herb. You can expect occasional fish, plus chicken, pork, beef, and sausage.

This is our “bridge menu.” The Variety menu incorporates the healthy recipes of the Fit & Healthy plan, while also being very family friendly.
